Devin Ibarra, a senior at El Diamante High in California, won the Division 2 boys title at the Central Section Championships by covering the 5-kilometer layout in 15:49.61 at Woodward Park in Fresno, Calif. Ibarra helped El Diamante secure seventh place as a team with 196 points and advanced to race Nov. 25 at the CIF State Championships at Woodward Park.
